Suginohara is built around long, uninterrupted riding rather than technical terrain. A single gondola reaches the summit in around 15 minutes, and the 8.5km descent covers the full 1,124m vertical back to base.
The terrain is predominantly beginner to intermediate, with wide, consistent groomers that suit snowboarders well and make it easy to regroup at the base.
Tree pockets and off-piste sections sit just off the main runs and can hold powder, but obvious lines track out quickly. Manage speed on flatter lower sections.

Lotte Arai is the most premium and freeride-focused resort in the Myoko area, built around off-piste terrain rather than groomed cruising.
